What is Disney Junior?
Disney Junior is a film streaming service that focuses on content made by Corus Entertainment aimed for children ages 2-7.
My Role
During my time with You.i TV, I was tasked to work with the designers and developers to build the app and create visual enhancing animations for a unique user experience. With the power of the You.i Engine, we were able to produce a modern, chique application with never before seen features across all platforms.
Design Process
The UX team would consult with the client on their ideas and create a focus group of users. From there, they would determine the users pain points and create the wireframes to alleviate these issues. Once the wireframes were approved, the UX team would hand them off to the Visual Designer. The designer would then create a skin for the wireframes, consulting both the client and the product team. When a design was approved, it was time for my part. Using After Effects, I would create the wireframe using compositions and recreate the design using solids, text and any png files from the mock.
